posted 11 June 2001 10:26 AM               Capability Calculations - Unilateral Tolerance Distributions - Johnson's Transformation Distribution Model (JTDM)has been used to perform best fit analysis on raw data to establish CR, Skewness , Kurtosis etc. Reason: Normal curve not applicable for characteristsics such as Surface Finish, where negatives cannot exist.
