An FMEA is a risk analysis. Any risk analysis system will work but most are an FMEA 'at heart', such as a hazardous operations study for processes involving explosives. They don't call it an FMEA but it is. What are you trying to do? Why do you want avoid an FMEA. They are (in my opinion) a great tool which can save lots of $$$ in the long run. IP: Logged |
