Can anyone suggest a means of evaluating a suppliers performance, when the supplier is the only supplier in the region. Do we still have to go through the motions? Carl IP: Logged |

Carl, You still need to address that situation in your procedures. This how I did it. Vendor approval: 2.3 VENDORS SHALL BE APPROVED BY ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING METHODS:
5.2 THERE MAY BE VENDORS THAT ARE SOLE SOURCE FOR SUPPLIES OR SERVICES WHICH HAVE BELOW STANDARD VENDOR RATING. AFTER ALL OTHER AVENUES OF CORRECTIVE ACTION HAVE BEEN EXHAUSTED, WE MAY REVERT TO 100% INSPECTION AND ALL OTHER CORRECTIVE ACTION MEASURES SHALL BE SUSPENDED.
