Item 4.2.6 of TS 16949 indicates ăThe supplier shall establish and implement a system for tooling management including tool design modification documentation·......tool modification and revision to documentation···ä Is that mean we have to having drawing change control for tool and die drawings? Or some means of recording changes for tools? Those of you in auto parts know well that some old dies and mold drawings donât even have title block and/or change level. So, what you do? Hire a few die designers and re-draw all you existing tool and dies? or forget about the past just lets do it right from now on? By the way, would this element apply to assembly equipment and machinery? If it does, how on earth you want to keep up with changes that happen during the regular maintenance and even scheduled PM. Please respond only if you have gone through the TS audit, may be you are an auditor or have developed a system for TS 16949. IP: Logged |
