Does anyone know if the revision to TS 16949 will include (or have a "supplement" that includes) requirements for non-parts suppliers? I'm interested in requirements for equipment manufacture specifically, but tooling would be nice, too. I know this question has been approached in a couple other forum threads, but I haven't been able to track down any verifiable information. I'm willing to take rumor and innuendo at this point. I haven't heard anything about 16949 and tooling suppliers at all yet. IP: Logged |

I haven't heard either. Like QS9K, TE probably has the same "opportunity" to stay with the QS9K (using ISO9K:1994) format. IP: Logged |
