Anyone out there ever done or heard of the Ford 3-D format? We routinely use the 8-D format and assume the 3-D is a condensed version but have never seen a template. Thanks in advance.

As it turns out, it was simply a communication problem between our Sales Dept. and a Ford employee. We were being asked to submit the first three steps of our 8D - the Sales guy who took the call interpereted his request to be a "3D". Thanks for your time - sorry to bother you all with a bogus question!
