What are your minimum requirements for percent in-tolerance at the end of the calibration period for multi-paratmeter equipment, ie equipment that has more than one parameter or distinct set point, such as a digital multimeter, gage block set or decade resistor? ------------------ IP: Logged |

I can't personally help you with this. Unfortunately there aren't too many calibration experts here. I'll see if I can drum up a response. I don't know if you know (heck, you may already be a list member) but there is a Calibration and Test Lab list serve. Contact 'Greg Gogates' [email protected] to get on the list. IP: Logged |

I think most of my view on this was expressed in the other post. But just as a response to this, I have seen a common figure of 95%, and with a significant sample size (25 minimum). But in combination with the minimum 4:1 T.A.R., and with my thoughts in the other response, minimum % In-tolerance must be based on acceptable risk. ------------------ IP: Logged |
