Does anyone have experience with CHICAGO BRAND dial bore gauges? Their prices (at $75 to $100) are much cheaper (about 1/4th the cost) than SUNNEN. They also make micrometers and dial indicators. ?? IP: Logged |

I've used Chicago dial indicators in the past. Never had any problems. They seem to be very sturdy and reliable in general terms. When you get into the .0001 increment instruments however, Chicago is much like the InterRapid .0001 indicators in that one must sift through a number of them to find one that repeats. Most do not repeat and when one is found, BUY IT as it will serve you well for years! IP: Logged |
