Element 4.9.g.1 of the standard requires the facility to document, evaluate and improve maintenance objectives. Question: is this as simple as setting a goal for unscheduled down-time? IP: Logged |

I think that would be a great start. Think about it more and others will probably come to mind. Consider those things that you already use to track the effectivity of your maintenance department. IP: Logged |

Jeff, Just some ideas: a. Machine up-time improvement. As usual the goals need to be set and monitored and the only thing I suggest is to make sure that whatever measurements you choose are cost effective and reported through management review.
