a customer of ours is purchasing air gages to verify a bore with tight tolerances. How much are the results affected by surface finish of the bore when air gauging is used? IP: Logged |

One variable to take into consideration is whether the gage is on the production floor and subject to more abuse and environmental concerns than if in a controlled lab.
