Anyone have a copy or information on the document ISO 2553? - it has been vaguley referenced in one of our customers welding specifications & I believe it has to do with describing weld drawing symbols BUT.. we currently do not have more or any-other information than that. Thanks [This message has been edited by Jim Biz (edited 19 September 2000).] IP: Logged |

Guess maybe we should just write this one off to a customer that dosen't update his own procedures to current ISO references? If 1118 folks world wide have never heard of it - it must be buried back on some old dusty shelf somewhere Regards IP: Logged |

Thanks David: We'll make good use of the info-link.. In this case there were no symbols used that were uncommon on any other weld drawings we have. That may be what added to the confusion - quite possible it was used as a draftsman's note to himself as much as anything. Regards IP: Logged |
