BIFMA e-3 2008 Sustainability Standard for Furniture Manufacturers

This is a standard that may soon be ANSI approved for sustainability geared toward furniture manufactures. Not sure how many are involved in furniture manufacturing in the cove. It is a organization/facility/product certification scheme. I believe that there are currently 4 registrars that do the registration; NSF, Intertek, SCS and UL.
Just to update. We went thru a day long training on this standard for furniture. Just s few comments from this training.
Other manufacturing segements may be looking at it to do some modeling.
It goes all the way back thru the supply chain with audits and testing.
