Customer FAIR (DIP) requirement

Hi, Everyone

I work in the aerospace sector. My customer has already received my FAIR; they are now asking for a DIP (Detail Inspection Plan) with the FAIR attached. I would like to know if material certifications must be included in the DIP. If someone could provide an example, that would be great.

I agree with Randy seeing AS9102 doesn't specifically call out a Detail Inspection Plan verbatim. AS9012 Rev C does specify FAI Planning in section 4.1. Possibly that is what your customer is alluding to?

Thank you for the response, Randy, According to FAIR requirements, Page 3 to 6 is already showing Detail inspection report which is mentioned all the requirements, but they want it separate DIP for their ref.
