ERP Systems for Medical Device Manufacturing

I have used SAP in a previous company as an ERP. What other compliant ERP systems have you used, and had success with. I am with a small start-up and looking to purchase one.

Hi, I worked for a electronics company and we ran Epicor (already in use while I was there) for ERP with the scope of ordering raw matls, receipts, stocking, manufacturing and shipping. If you don't have QMS, I would certainly suggest one to manage QMS/ISO 13485 requirements. Planning and understanding your requirements and processes are key. In terms of compliance, you will need to provide software validation documentation. Implementation can take long, resource intensive and expensive (unless your company does it themselves).
