May I know how to set an audit number? Thank you!
It really is as simple as 001, 002 or whatever suits your organization. At the time these tools and papers were written I was auditing multiple systems so the quality system audit report would be QAR 001, QAR 002 etc, and environmental audit reports would be EAR 001, EAR 002 etc.

Is the set audit number for each department will be use in every audit? Thank you!
It is important to not make the identification complicated, thus difficult to follow. Many of my clients use the year and sequential number: 2014-01, 2014-02 etc. or something similar. For them it does not matter which department is involved - that information is available within the audit report. Really, all that matters is your ease of use and reference when looking for stored records.
