The Medical Device Innovation Consortium (MDIC), in collaboration with Apraciti, LLC, has launched the 2nd Annual Medical Device Cybersecurity Industry Benchmark Assessment. The complimentary assessment is hosted by Product Security Hub, a platform and workplace for medical device cybersecurity, built for medical device manufacturers.
Companies who take part in the survey will gain an understanding of their overall maturity rating, based on the US Healthcare and Public Health Sector Coordinating Councils Medical Device and Health IT Join Security Plan (JSP), as well as security domain ratings and details of how each question was answered. This will provide them the opportunity to assess their current position and determine areas for improvement.
The anonymous data from the benchmarking assessment will be used as input to developing the 2nd Annual Medical Device Cybersecurity Maturity Industry Benchmark Report scheduled for late 2023.
