UDI labeling requirements

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering about the UDI labeling requirements for rechargeable Lithium-ion Batteries, which will be used in our chargers. Does lithium ion battery symbol needs to be labeled on Device label or outer packaging should suffice. According 21 CFR 801 and 49 CFR 173.185 mentioned on packaging.

Please provide any insights on this topic.
