We are developing a device that will be used installed in our customers factories to calibrate the customers products. This device has no moving parts so I don't believe the machinery directive applies.
We plan on doing 61010-1 testing but I'm not clear if EMC via 61326-1 testing is applicable. My initial thought is that since our device is being used as a production fixture that perhaps the EMC testing is not as stringent? Am I off the mark here?
