Absolute Interval measurement of CTS/CSE Waveforms

Dear All,

I have read through the procedure of computing the absolute wave duration measurements for CTS / CSE database signals.

For the CTS database signals, the procedure mentioned is.

1. Compute the differences for each individual LEAD Measurement (Q-,R-,S- durations) for leads I, II, V1....V6.

Clarification Required:

Does the above sentence mean, we need to compute the Q,R,S Durations of each beat in a lead. (Ex.: Q, R, S, Durations present for all the beats in Lead-1)

or does it mean to compute the differences of Q,R,S- duration of each beat in lead-1 with the Q,R,S- duration of each beat in lead-2 and later continue with taking difference of Lead-2 beat measurement with Lead-V1 beat measurement etc.

If the 1st step is clarified the remaining steps can be carried out.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi subbash,
I cannot answer your question because I am not an expert on the subject, but I agree that this phrase should be clarified.
I am interested in getting this database to test some ECG algorithms. Do you know who is responsible for this database at the moment?
Thanks in advance!
