Have somebody some experience on Parsytec surface inspection system or something of similar for surface inspections of coils? If yes, can give his advice on: how manage this system in conformity to iso 9001 or 16949 and related standard; functionality and real utility of this automatic system. Thanks a lot

Not first hand, but some of our sister companies use similar systems, and unfortunately I have to say that I am somewhat disappointed in the results (as are they). It seems to take an extraordinary amount of time and effort to "teach" the systems to interpret surface defects properly, and even then, they require a lot of baby sitting. Computing power has been a limiting factor in the past, but I think that hurdle is behind us now.

I know I may sound negative here, but I can think of several easier tasks than inspection of an endless surface whizzing past you at pretty high (and ever increasing) speeds, no matter if it is done with naked eye or aided by a machine. It is a tricky business at best.
