Re: Opinion: Lead auditor online training?
Thanks you guys! I appreciate all of your responses! Here are a few answers to some of your questions:
1. I was trying to be nice in saying my boss was being "frugal". She just doesn't want to shell out the money for me to go to the course AND my pay (...and my pay isn't anything spectacular for what I do, believe me!!!)
2. She also should probably take it (our auditor suggested this). Reason for this is if just by chance I lose my job or quit, she can carry on. She's not too enthused about it.
3. To Gidget, Randy, Steel, David, JHagani, Randy and Andy... I figured that for a first timer that it probably wasn't wise to take an online course because of the loss of interaction with the mock-ups.
4. I will check out the link that you gave, Randy. I appreciate that.
5. Andy... no nice vacation place for me... everywhere in SoCal is within driving distance for me. I live in the middle of everything - 40 minutes to L.A., 1 hour to San Diego, 30 minutes to Long Beach, and of course my personal favorite... 3 hours to Las Vegas/Lake Havasu/Colorado River. So I would be coming home every night. BUMMER!
I will let her know what you all have told me. She knows about the Cove and all of you that are so willing to help.
Thanks again, guys!!
Kyle
