I'm reading through VDA5 and ISO 22514-7 and I have a question about using the MPE value to calculate the capability of the measurement system instead of performing a linearity and type-1 study.
I'm trying to find stated MPE values in calibration reports. In a calibration report for a CMM the MPE value is stated, see attachment. But in a caliper calibration report the MPE is not stated. Am I allowed to take the tolerance as the MPE value?
