Gauge Design Tolerances - How to decide tolerances for gauge design?

How to decide tolerances for gauge design? Suppose there are two pins of Diameter 8.2 +0.010mm and drawing tolerance for position between them is 0.06mm. The co-ordinates are 71.67 mm and 24mm. What tolerance to be given for holes on gauge and for coordinates 71.67 & 24?

I'm giving this one another 'bump'.

Can anyone help with this one? My Thanks in advance!

Hello there gage builder student,
The answer for these question brings up questions.
It sounds as if you want to make a gage to check pin size and alignment?
You offer the pin size and spacing tolorance.
The coordiate locations of the pins have single measurements.
I would guess the pins are on a flat surface? and so might need X/Y coordinates?
The gage's hole diameter, and pin coordinate accuracies could inter-relate.
A bit more info might allow a better comment or answer.
Better advice is likely to follow.
