Chance

Does anybody know about the latest article publised by ASQ about Human Dimension of Quality that talks about Leadership: from Ballroom to Boardroom and the shop floor.
I was asked by my boss to read it and make comments about it. Anybody who had seen the article and want to share with me their comments about it. Please let me know. Thanks.

Does anybody have an idea about it? Please help. Thanks!

Please be patient. Someone will probably be along who can help. Was this a Quality Progress article? From a recent issue?

Sorry - Public Forums are not instant messaging.
It took a bit of research to determine that some beknighted souls at ASQ have made access to documents on this topic restricted to ASQ members who are also dues paying members of the Human Development & Leadership Division - really shortsighted use of resources in my personal opinion.

(This, however, does not mean my opinion should take this thread further off track. If someone with access to these documents would give a synopsis for our use, we would all be grateful for the effort.)

Hi, Chance.:bigwave:

Your boss asked you to read it but didn't give it to you? How did he have access to it?

I suggest that you get a copy of the article from your boss since not many of us seem to have access to it. Sorry, no help on this one!

:topic:Go figure! ASQ looking to squeeze a buck everywhere they can. Maybe they should reduce some of the 'beknighted souls' (overhead) they have so information is free and membership dues are more affordable. Makes one woders who are the customers for ASQ.

Maybe he heard about the article from one of his/her golf buddies and now is asking Chance to read it and give him/her a Reader's Digest version. Too busy managing and leading, I guess ... :sarcasm:

Benighted. Have you verified that the article in question is available behind that pay wall?

Typos will slay us all in the end. Of course, the way some folk at ASQ on the paid staff act, you might suspect they were convinced they had been knighted and draped with high honors.;)

The exact title given by the OP is equal to one locked behind the pay booth.
