These look very good.

Just recall that to train somebody one need to be able to perform the task your self confidently and with Authority. Training is to be fairly slow to medium paced if you have lots of information to convey. It is vital that the trainee recognize all the risk associated with the task and this best if the the trainee is part of the process of identifying the risk and any other factors involved.

To assess their Competency is a little easier but still have to be thorough.

Rickster: The Competence, Awareness and Training procedure doesn't mention anything about determining the required competency of people doing work and then identifying any actions needed to address any shortfall. I can only see mention of training. Surely, training is an action which comes from going through the process to determine competency and should be included in the procedure? Or is it covered in another document? In which case, the title is wrong)

Thank you Rickser and guruprasadb! :thanks:

You may wish to check on the attachment titled Competency, Awareness etc, since it doesn't define how competencies are to be identified, then some form of checking to see if someone possesses those competencies and, finally, if there's further action needed to address those competencies, including training... In fact it doesn't mention awareness and how people are made aware etc.
