Supplier Controlled Shipping (GM CS1) Condition

Hello expertise,

I have a situation where I need an experts opinion on to decide how to inform my supplier on a CS1 rules based on the part they supply to us.

The condition is below

Part = Leather Wrap part
Volume = 200 pcs/ week
Inspection: Visual only for Class A surface parts

Let me know how we can define a CS1 requirement

CS1 means controlled shipping - 1 its general motors terminology on pushing a supplier to do a 100% certification for quality issues based on previous repeated complaints.

Are you doing work for GM? Do you have a copy of their requirements for controlled shipping? I know that it used to be contained in GM GP-5.
