Hi there folks,
When you're banned there is currently no way to contact the moderation team.

The "Contact Us" link is broken, and the email address listed on the "Privacy Policy" page (elsmarsupport@elsmar.com) returns an undeliverable error.

Unfortunately, the Cove was purchased years ago by PQ Systems then PQ Systems was purchased by Advantive. After that purchase, we lost our tech support.

The OP justaqualityguy.
He suggested a software pkg in response to someone’s request for recommendations. He was banned in error thinking that it was advertising.
He reached out to Ed on Linked In to rectify the situation.

Correct.
I would just like if there was a workable option for contacting the moderation team of Elsmar.

Following on from what Miner said earlier;
I guess changes like that would be in the hands of Advantive?

That is correct. While they are paying the bill to keep the site up and running, they are not checking in on the site. And despite being called an Admin, my access is limited.

The unfortunate bit is the fact that we lost the 24/7 support we had when Marc was active. The purchase of the site was fortunate as it could have simply vanished without PQ Systems taking over.

That really is such a shame Elsmar is such a useful resource.
Perhaps a setup a shared mailbox with a pinned forum post?

There are a number of issues with running the site in its current form - a few months ago my ability to post replies and start threads was suddenly, unexpectedly and without warning inhibited as there was "no response from my registered email address" - a "hotmail" email address that I have had for well over 20 years and which is still in daily use. I had to change email addresses (to a non-hotmail one) in order to continue - and as you have said, trying to follow the links and site email addresses to find someone with "power" to do something was frustrating, difficult and ultimately impossible as there was zero response. We just have to "grin and bear it" and hope that we don't experience the site suddenly disappearing one day when we try to log in......
