I have a question about drop-shipping product from Vendor to Customer directly without coming to our facility. We sell a product which is build by our partner company (separate entity) and we have rights to sell in US and Europe. We are moving to AS9100 D and wanted to understand what are applicable requirements for this? Our vendor does inspections and provides us reports (sometime after shipment is delivered). We don't perform any inspections on drop-ship products.
Any help here would be useful. This is all new to us, and we are trying to figure out how to make a robust process which is also in compliance with AS9100. Thank you.
