Excluding Customers From an AS9100 System

I recently started with a newly AS9100 certified company that is expanding into AS+D. The company's current customer base does not require anything in the AS standard and are at a price point where it doesn't make economic sense to add in the AS requirements for them if they are not requiring a certified or even QMS compliance.

My question is can we identify, segregate customers and document in our system documentation that the AS9100 requirements are only applicable to customers that are identified in our ERP as AS+D customers? Has anyone done this? Pointers would be appreciated if you have.

For a little more context, what will you different for your AS&D customer than the non-AS&D customers?

I think the key of the standard is to make sure there is an effective system in place to provide conforming parts and services to your customers. If an AS&D customer is flowing down a full cert package requirement, and the non-AS&D customer is not asking for that, what in your system would ensure both customers are satisfied?
 
Planning to classify As+D customers in our ERP so it prints on production documentation. Production documentation will be printed on different color paper.

The customers who are not AS+D have generic requirements like " i need an approximate 30 inch hose made from material that can handle gasoline with 5 inch couplers on it."
