If you have an ISO 9001 registration, that gets you most of the way there. ISO/IEC 80079-34 has a few additional requirements (the ones in bold:

• System planning
• Management representative
• Management review: 14 m
• Competence, training, and awareness
• Customer requirements
• Supplier qualification 12 m
• Purchasing Info
• Incoming inspection
• Control of production
• Process validation
• Identification and traceability
• Customer property
• Preservation of product
• Control of mon. & meas. equip
• Internal audit: 14 m
• Mon., meas. of product
• Control of nonconforming 10 y

The current practice is that a company receiving yearly ISO 9001 external audits receives 80079-34 audits every 18 months (rather than yearly).
