Medical device powered from smartphone - isolation

It does not seem reasonable or even possible to find a USB-C cable with 2 MOPPs.

Even if you were to use such a cable, what would prevent the user from replacing your high-quality and expensive cable with a cheap one when the original breaks?

To me, the cable part doesn't make sense.

Hi @FelipeSchneider, I agree with You, this forum is priceless so we have to share our knowledge and experiences :)

For now, we didn't launched this project yet but after n-th iteration with client we decided that the device will be battery powered and USB-C is going to be used only for charging without possibility of its using simultaneously. It will allow us to use 2 MOOPs rather than 2 MOPPs.

When the project will be lauched I will talk with test labs and will see what do they think and let you know. If You have any thoughts, suggestions or advices, please feel free to post them.

I understand your decision and I believe that it is rather common as well.
For the original scenario, the question that still lies is: do you/we have to provide 2 MOPPs against mains voltage (230Vac) or USB 5Vdc?
