Should we leave a better world for our children?

Yesterday I received the following message from a friend:

"Fala-se tanto da necessidade de deixar um planeta melhor para os nossos filhos e esquece-se da urgência de deixarmos filhos melhores para o nosso planeta."

which translates to

We talk a lot about the need to leave a better planet for our children and, sometimes, we forget about the importance of leaving better children for our planet.

Well stated, Sidney. And one of the most important, to me at least, ways to assure our planet is being cared for is teaching/instructing teaching at home.

Sure, they will have laws, mandates, social/corporate responsibility codes and such. But.. the best practices are those they got (and observed) from parent(s).

Speaking of Latin and children - we can do the world a favor by bringing back "in loco parentis" to the school systems.
