Perhaps they are shooting for the generalization and making a broad assumption.
Paswords of "password", "pass", and "123456" still top the lists last time I checked.

I was on the phone this morning with a customer service rep from a major retailer who was complaining to me about how long it took to boot up thier cash register
...and continued on to tell me what the store's financial system password was...I wish I was surprised.

I think I would consider that person a "Password Invalid"...and the password was not one of the above, but pretty close:bonk::frust:.

On several of the other forums I frequent I use "Invalid User Name" as my user name. It confuses the heck out of a lot of people. :D

I'm going to make my next password "invalid" that way, when I forget it, the computer will tell me, "Your password is Invalid":lmao:
