OK now I have the gap analysis done, any good ideas on project managing ISO to TS?
Thanks

Sorry, Stuart, this is all I've got. However you have the Gap so it's really just a miniature version of the overall project. Your systems are are already up and running since you are ISO9001. All you need to do is add the fat that makes up the TS provisions hanging off of the ISO provisions you already cover.

There are some good ISO9001 to TS comparisons around here and some what it takes to go from one to the other as well. Try some title searches with ISO and TS in the box.

Most likely, your biggest challenge will be implementing the 4 Core Tools manuals under Section 7 Product Realization. APQP Manual to cover the NOTE on section 7.1. PPAP Manual to cover TS 7.3.6.3 Product Approval Process and then, of course, the FMEA Manual and the MSA manual are called out from the PPAP Manual.

Having fun yet?

Hi !

1st and most important is to have management support in this implementation. Also, you should have the person who will take care and manage the standard implementation should be on a management position.

Also, if there are no experienced guys with ISO TS 16949 implementation before, is a good approach to have a person from a coaching company in the field. We had this approach and worked well.
