Clarification on requirements

Can someone please confirm if automotive finance companies are required to obtain and hold certification to IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001 when doing business outside of the US? I.e., Canada, Mexico, etc.?

That’s an easy one. Only automotive MANUFACTURING sites are eligible for certification to IATF 16949.

Based upon IATF Rules for Achieving and Maintaining IATF Recognition:
*For eligible to IATF 16949 Certification /you should have automotive customer , orders or initial accepted approved parts " i.e : PPAP ",
" manufacturing customer specified productions parts to the Automotive industry
