I have attached a PFMEA Audit criteria checklist that was posted on the Chrysler portal for suppliers to evaluate their PFMEA's prior to uploading into Powerway. Thought I would sare it with everyone at the Cove.

Thanks Bigfoot.

:topic: (slightly)
For those of you invovled in discussions in other threads regarding the Detection value on the PFMEA form - please note item "10C". This is true, not only of Chrysler, but of all of my automotive customers.

Bill,

You are welcome.

Also :topic: but note item 10b as well for those who were in the discussion of the visual inspection as a detection being = 8.

The Process FMEA audit checklist is related to the changes made in DaimlerChrysler's Process Sign-Off (PSO) Manual (5th edition), just released and taking effect April 2005.

One question that I have to answer with a 'no' is 1e (core team includes DCX personnel). Has anyone had direct input from their SQ or Engineer in Process development?

Also, has PPDC date (referenced in 1f) previously been used by anyone for Key Date on FMEAs? How should that date be defined or found? The FMEA manual only mentions 'initial FMEA due date' & 'no later than PPAP date'

I realize this is old, but I'm putting a PFMEA training together for new auditors. This PFMEA AUdit checklist was also in an AIAG presentation on PFMEAs posted on the Cove. Does anyone know if this is still used? I mean Chrysler has their own big Product Audit document now, but what does GM or Ford use? Anybody know?

Thanks,
