Office that only manages Contracts - Exclusion of Clause 7.3

A

agemat

Please Help!
In an office that manages only contracts ,
(e.g. : input = customer with his licenses-personal data etc , output = the contract itself).
At section 7, is there an exclude at 7.3, 7.5, 7.1 ?
I believe this process has to do only with 7.1 and 7.5. And 7.3 (and its subsections) is excluded.

Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Welcome! We can't answer you completely and accurately unless you provide some background information! What is the scope of the management system? Are you certified to ISO 9001 or seeking certification? Rarely does any one part of a business only do one or two "elements" of the standard...

ISO 9001 talks about exclusions of a QMS, not an office, not a process. To attempt to certify an office that does only contract review and processing would be a mistake, in my experience. The contract office should not have an independent QMS, but it should contribute to the order review process.

agemat,

Is your office part of a larger organization's management system?

If so, that system should be process-based not office-based.

Your office may own some processes in this larger system.

But, as Andy said, we cannot help you until you describe the scope of the management system.

So, please describe the services paid for, directly or indirectly, by your customers and the processes primarily responsible for those services.

Many thanks,

John
