Ladies & Gentlemen,
I did send out a QMS Manual and Powerpoint sometime back but I could not get any response.:nope:
Maybe I just did not sent it in the right thread, etc. Editor note: Attachments are in this thread QMS (Quality Management System) Manual - The Boss Wants a 4 Page Manual - What to Do? -Wes Bucey, Moderator
So this is my another attempt. So help us God.:cfingers:

I will be going over to corporate office in 9 days' time to discuss my approach towards quality and
roll out of a new QMS at corparte level for the top management team, after doing it at local level for a weeks now.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could contact me via PM for any details that you would need. :agree:

Thanking you in advance for your invaluable insights.:thanx:

I'd like to note that posts over a North American weekend rarely attract a lot of responses. Coury (one of our newest Moderators) and I have made some changes to dinselong's original post, but dinselong should come back on Monday and "bump" this thread to the top of the daily queue by adding another post to this thread.

Alas, the nature of a Forum such as the Cove is that the majority of readers and posters visit on work days. Threads begun on weekends drop off the 24-hour list many refer to when revisiting the Cove on Monday and thus go unanswered.

To respond to dinselong's request, click on his name in his post and view the contact choices.

To make this thread stand out, I have split it off to stand alone and out of the clutter.

I performed a cursory review of your manual and it appears to be ok. I would suggest that you may want to remove some of the abbreviations like:

dinselong said:
Abbreviations
3.1 Title
CEO Chief Executive Officer
COO Chief Operating Officer
GM General Manager
PM Project Manager
MR Management Representative
QM Quality Manager
DM Department or Discipline Manager

These appear to really have no bearing upon the QMS since these can be abbreviated during the responsibilities. For example: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for assuring that... and so forth. In my opinion there is no need to specifically show what the abbreviations mean as a Section in the QMS. But if the company feels that this is necessary, than by all means leave it in.
