Air Quality Measurement Hardware and Software

We are looking for options to update our air quality hardware and software, which is WinXP based. We need to measure particle size and count. Does anyone have air quality hardware and/or software experience/preferences?

If you have been satisfied with your current system, and simply need to update onto today's platforms...my first call would be to the manufacturer of your current system.
They either have options for Windoze 10, or they aren't around anymore...perhaps it can simply be a software install...

Spray application of coatings and adhesives for aerospace manufacturing. Not as critical as your typical electronics or pharma cleanroom, but still monitored and toleranced by particle size and count.

Our current system is satisfactory and as you suggested we did go back to them and update the software. The manufacturer is not a mainstream measurement device company. Before investing further into the system I am exploring other off the shelf options. I have bitten a few times by smaller companies going under and/or boughten out and the product line/software/support disappears.

Do you have a guidance document on the enviromental specification?
Or is it a customer specification?

I am only known with cleanroom equipement and those counters would not survive the surroundings of a spray applicator cabine

Sorry, we only have our internal spec. which I can't discuss other than to say we are measuring in the 3-10 micron range.

Nope, we only perform scheduled monitoring.

Without knowing your requirements, it 's difficult to make recommendations. Look at Beckman Coulter, Fluke and EXTECH.
