Special Characteristic Symbols on Prints used by the various OEM's

Nissan Characteristics attached and BMW only uses L (spec attached)

Is there any information for Volkswagen? is there a correlation matrix including VW?

Is the VW D/TLD the same as FMVSS requirements for suppliers?

BMW's "L" is only printed in drawing. How about the symbol in Special Characteristics sheet or Control Plan?

What about Toyota?
Does anyone know the symbol for Toyota?

Per the Toyota SQAM, they utilize inverted delta (upside down triangle) S for Safety-related parts and characteristics; inverted delta E for exhaust and emission characteristics, and inverted delta R for Regulatory characteristics.
