Getting Notice of Revision and Accessing Public Draft Copies of ISO Standards

One of my friend gets notices when an ISO standard was revised, he has the access to the public draft copies. I asked but he didn't tell exactly how he got the access.
Is it a subscription thing [ISO member] or something else?

Not sure. Expert members from the working groups creating the standards have access. ISO recently has been opening options to buy draft versions.

The dutch NEN had a subscription service like that. Check NEN-Platform Managementsystemen - NEN
