820.198 Complaint Handling: Complaint Received Date

Hi All,

As part of the complaint file to comply with the regulation, we need to document 'the date the complaint was received.' The definition we currently use for this is aligned to the 'awareness date' for 803 and the EU regulations 2017/745 (employee or representative receiving/hearing the complaint). My question is, does anyone use a different definition for the complaint received date?
