Inspection by attributes is inspection where the product is classified as conforming or nonconforming without regard for the actual value of the feature(s) under evaluation.

yes, but if you have continuous data (formerly known as "variables" data) you don't need to use that sampling by attributes (currently known as categorical data). you can - and are much better off if you - use a sampling plan based on continuous data.

the acceptance number is still zero defects.

yes. this standard does detail some continuous data sampling plans
