AS9102 - How to document internal special process ie Welding

We have a build to print part that requires an Electronic Beam Welding in accordance with AWS C7. IM/C7 I. The machine shop that makes the part does this in house so there is no C of C for outside processing. The supplier just included on Form 3 and indicated conforms. I find this inadequate but not familiar enough with this standard to know on how this verification and validation should be documented. Any feedback would be recommended on what else needs to be added. I was thinking about having the weld sample results added to the report if this is used to validate the process that day.
