Dock Audits as part of Supplier Containment Action

After receiving non-conforming product, do you expect that supplier to implement some Dock Audit as part of their Containment Action. If after 100% inspection in the process for instance, would you expect that they should implement some random Dock Audit to ensure Contaiment?

An excellent supplier would...:tg: without a requirement. Depending on your industry of course; as an old :notme: automotive guy I might expect a short-term (30 days?) dock audit or similar random audit, to verify effectiveness of containment / correction / corrective action.

Anyone else out there with input?

I would expect 100% containment until a permanent CAR is in place and verified. The problem with a dock audit you would not catch the nonconforming material unless it is a high number. IMO.
