we use the reference standard instruments to calibrate the autoclave equipments. during which the sensors are subjected to range of conditions of higher temperature and pressures. hence it is recalibrated to after completion of the qualification studies to establish that the sensors were working satisfactorily.
is there a reference which talks about the requirements;
and can it be extended for monitoring the similar equipments such as hot air ovens, etc
the counter point is that the sensors are designed for the extended range of the operation, hence not relevant and required. autoclave could be possible candidate as it involves extereme temperatures; but extending similar requirement to the other equipments of hot air oven .
