As a mentor of mine said “well Bev if you just diagram the sentence…”
The sentence as written says that other (potentially) defective things could result from the same cause;
it doesn’t say that other (currently) defective things might be due to the same cause. Quite different.

None the less I still don’t see this as a PA for the reason I stated above. Nor is the discussion of any value. 6 angels can fit on the head of a pin… unless one is pregnant then only 5 can since a pregnant angel isn’t an angel…
