Lost time due to on the job accident?

OK, like I said, you're in the US and it goes on the OSHA 300 log and as a Recordable as well.

I don't know what kind of "board" you're referring to, but OSHA doesn't give a flip about that internal posting other than the annual one of your previous year's OSHA 300. I've been a Safety & Health professional for nearly 40 years, I've a BS in Safety, and I've done and audited it from Alaska to Dubai across multiple national legal systems.

You also need to show an investigation into the injury, you can use the OSHA 301. Best yet, here are the required BY LAW, OSHA forms.

Or you can listen to the guy in the UK.

Very welcome.

Here's some history, way back in '97-'98 we (former employer) experienced 363 OHSA recordables and $6.5million in Workers Comp losses, turns out we (and a couple other companies) we victims of a worker's comp scam being run by a couple doctors and clinics.....assorted back injuries were the most common thing reported along with "carpal tunnel" and other "repetitive stress" injuries. Big break was when one of the "injured", who hadn't worked in about 18 months: was observed on TV "coming out of chute #2 riding Tornado" during a bull riding competition in Calgary. During interview he squealed louder than a wheel that hadn't been oiled in 5 years. Consequently, a couple doctors got jailed along with some others (Federal & State violations). We had one employee who'd made a claim, that had the same claim against multiple employers (and 4 different SSN's).

Tough thing to say, but make sure you aren't getting scammed.

Oh yeah, our following recordables went way, way down as did claims.
