I'm working through the 60601 insulation tables but what do I use for "PEAK WORKING VOLTAGE" with a 220-240VAC nominal power supply?

Thanks for the help :)

For mains supply, the peak working voltage would be sqrt(2) x maximum Vrms, e.g. for a rating of 220-240Vrms, the value would be 399Vp.

Thanks but I leaned the relationship between peak and RMS for a sine wave 40 years ago. They didn?t teach me what IEC60601 meant by ?Peak Working Voltage? though. A friend of mine just explained that what the standard means is the highest voltage in the device such as a 300V backlight inverter output. Nothing to do with line voltage.
