Seeking a sample spreadsheet - Inventory of items with 2 units

Could anyone share a sample of spreadsheet that has inventory containing items with 2 units? For example, you have 1 box (containing 72 pcs) and another 5 pcs. And then, 8 pcs were sold. Therefore, the result would be 69 pcs. Instead of "box" the unit should be in "pcs" now.

Here is a quick and dirty Excel solution. I made a very basic spreadsheet and the total will change as you change the the numbers in the AMT column. The G column can be hidden, but needs to stay for reference for the total.

I am sure it can be pared down, but it would take someone smarter and with more time than me.
